So you may have heard the story of a young college football player that was kicked off a US Airways flight when he refused to pull up his baggy pants that were exposing his boxer shorts. When I read this story, I thought that was kind of harsh, even though I absolutely find that style to be completely absurd and distasteful. But in reality he wasn’t exposing his junk so what was the real harm. I mean don’t we see little pink thongs sticking out of young ladies pants all the time?
Well, US Airways might be in a bit of hot water when six days prior to this incident a man wearing only women’s panties and knee high stockings on the lower half was NOT asked to cover up. Really?! Several passengers complained but no one approached the man to ask that he cover his much exposed genital region. Although I don’t have a picture of this event any man dressed in women’s panties would be bulging quite profusely and in my opinion would be breaking the law of indecent exposure. But no one said anything at all.
So now you have one man with baggy pants exposing his boxer shorts and another man cross dressing in women’s underwear. Why the disconnect in how this was handled? I’m not sure, but do I see a law suit on the horizon?
