Is US Airways In Trouble After Man In Women’s Panties Incident?

So you may have heard the story of a young college football player that was kicked off a US Airways flight when he refused to pull up his baggy pants that were exposing his boxer shorts.  When I read this story, I thought that was kind of harsh, even though I absolutely find that style to be completely absurd and distasteful.  But in reality he wasn’t exposing his junk so what was the real harm.  I mean don’t we see little pink thongs sticking out of young ladies pants all the time?

Well, US Airways might be in a bit of hot water when six days prior to this incident a man wearing only women’s panties and knee high stockings on the lower half was NOT asked to cover up.  Really?!  Several passengers complained but no one approached the man to ask that he cover his much exposed genital region.  Although I don’t have a picture of this event any man dressed in women’s panties would be bulging quite profusely and in my opinion would be breaking the law of indecent exposure.  But no one said anything at all.

So now you have one man with baggy pants exposing his boxer shorts and another man cross dressing in women’s underwear.  Why the disconnect in how this was handled?  I’m not sure, but do I see a law suit on the horizon?

More Air To Leak Out Of The Housing Bubble

Well is seems that there is still more air to diffuse from the housing bubble according to a new study.  If you thought we couldn’t possibly go lower get ready because we haven’t hit rock bottom yet.  A new study published today said that the housing market will likely continue to fall the rest of this year before hitting it’s lowest point sometime next year where it will remain stagnant for quite some time.

Although, I shutter to think that my house is possibly going to lose more value than it already has, to be honest I’m not overly surprised.  Over the last 6 months there has been tell-tell signs in my own life and the life of my fellow friends that this free fall has not lost its momentum.

Our first sign was when my husband’s company, a well known and large construction company, laid off a slew of employees last year.  He skated by that lay off only to be scooped up in the next lay off seen two weeks before Christmas.  Four short months later this same company laid off another 80 people, mostly infrastructure employees such as IT, accounting, and human resources.  Then last week we were informed one of our good friends who works for a competitor construction company as a General Manger was let go as well.

Businesses are the meter of health.  As businesses continue to lay off people it shows that they are doing whatever they can just to keep their doors open.  People aren’t building or investing and it’s not just affecting the residential market but the commercial market is suffering deep losses as well. Who will remain standing when the dust settles still remains to be seen.

While many will say, “Well the stock market is up and we added new jobs to the private sector”, I say, “So What!”.  The stock market is a game and can be manipulated at a moments notice and until we are seeing jobs added into the private sector we aren’t seeing job growth.  In fact, employment ticked up to 9.1% in May showing that things are going to get worse than they get better.

But if there is one thing I know about the American people is we are a resilient bunch of folk.  We will do what needs to be done to get this country back on track.  This is just a brick wall at the moment and Americans have showed time and time again that brick walls were meant to be broken.

If You Are A Parent This Is A Must Watch!!!!

This might be the funniest, most apropos video to the hysteria of kids I have ever seen.  I first saw this video while at work and it took everything in my power not to bust out laughing.

As a mother of two this video hit home but I have to ask how did the father keep it together.  I know I would have been yelling, “KNOCK IT OFF”, in a not so nice tone about two seconds into this video.
